Why are freshwater habitats important?

Some animals live in freshwater habitats for example, fish, hippos, and crocodiles.  Animals need to drink so if we get greedy there might not be any water left.

1% of the worlds water is available for humans.  70% of the worlds water is ice and 29% of the worlds water is not available because it is too far down in the ground.

If we litter by the river the river will take the rubbish into the sea and pollute the sea.  Don't waste water - people need water!

THE LEMON!!

Suddenly Eli's bedroom door slamed open and Eli Lemon was out of bed.  Eli slipped on a banana peel and tumbled down the stairs.
He got bruise on his butt and his lemon head.  Eli got ice creamand a lemon cake for breakfast.

After Eli had breakfast, Pedro, Eli's little brother, slipped down the stairs but Pedro slipped on a doll head that he ripped of late last night.

At 2:00 Sie Sie ice cream came over to Eli's house to have yummy lunch.  Someone knocked on the door, it was Meera Bai doughnut.
meera bai said that she has anew baby sister.
All the food in the house said, "OMG" and they lived happily ever after.

SCHOOL TRIP TO KELLY TARLTONS

On Friday morning the whole of the Pohutukawa Team went to Kelly Tarttons.

When we got to Kelly Tarttons we listed to the rules.  First we went to see the stingray feed, they are the biggest stingrays in New Zeland.  Next we had morning tea.  After morning tea we went to see the peguins swimming in the water.  Next we split up into groups and had fortyeight minutes to do anything we wanted to do in our groups.

We had lots of fun looking around Kelly Tarltons.  First we went to a room that had lots of old things inside.  There was a challange, it was to put your hand in icey water for two minutes. I tried and only managed to do it for twenty seconds.  Next we saw the giant squid, it was huge!  After that we went to a shark area with shark games.  Next we went to an animal trail.  The last thing we did at Kelly Tarltons was go into a room and learn about water.  Finally we all went back to school on the bus.
